Villa Rosita offers the perfect base to explore Bali, whether you’re interested in wandering through intricately decorated temples, hiking a volcano, trekking through the tropical jungle, or cooling off in a natural waterfall.
Please let us know your interests, and we’ll help arrange your ideal day.
Ubud, made famous by the movie Eat, Pray, Love, is the most commercialized area of the Balinese Highlands and a must-visit while staying in our Bali villas for rent. It’s a vibrant hub of artisan workshops, local markets for souvenirs, yoga and wellness centers, along with beautiful rice fields. This energetic area is a perfect contrast to the peaceful escape offered by our luxury vacation rentals and villa vacation rentals in Bali.
Here, you can enjoy a thrilling swing over the lush landscape or try white water rafting or quad biking. Don’t miss places like Taman Gajah, Campuhan Ridge Walk, Sacred Monkey Forest, Tirta Empul Water Temple, Kanto Lampo Waterfall, and Tegalalang Rice Terraces, all easily explored from your private Bali villa or beach villa base.
In contrast to Ubud’s lively vibe, the tranquil valley of Sidemen is just 40 minutes away from many of our Bali rental villas. Enjoy scenic walks, discover hidden waterfalls, and experience village life in this picturesque area. A popular waterfall in Sidemen is Gembleng, where you can relax in natural rock pools overlooking the tropical jungle—a perfect retreat for guests staying in luxury Bali villas or top villas in Bali.
A favourite way to spend an afternoon is the serene water palace and gardens of Taman Ujung, located along the coast and just over an hour from the villa- an ideal day trip for those enjoying our private villa Bali accommodations near the stunning Bali beaches.
Virgin Beach, about 1 hour and 15 minutes away from our Bali villas for rent, features powdery white sand dotted with fishing boats and offers spectacular viewpoints and photo opportunities on your way down to the Bali beach.
Taman Safari Bali, a short 15-minute drive from many of our luxury Bali villas, is home to over a thousand animals, offering a fantastic family adventure. With more than 120 species, including rare and endangered ones like Komodo dragons, orangutans, and Bali starlings, they are dedicated to the survival and well-being of many Indonesian species—making it a perfect day trip during your stay at a private villa Bali or one of our villa vacation rentals.
Surfing enthusiasts can find excellent surf breaks at Komune and Keramas, about 15 minutes away. Keramas, a world-class surfing Bali beach, hosts one of the World Surfing League Championship events with the top professional surfers. If you’re visiting in April, May, or June, it’s worth checking the schedule while staying in one of our beach villas, Bali rental villas, or luxury vacation rentals.
Jivva Beach Club is a 15 to 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive through the village and along the beach. It’s a great spot for a pizza, where kids can play on a large grassy area, or you can relax in beanbags while enjoying the views and pool. Note that there is a small river to cross when walking along the beach.
Or why not explore the famous reefs of Candidasa, just 40 minutes away.
