Hospitality veteran Sandeep Sekhri fell in love with the culture and natural beauty of Bali over a decade ago. Splitting his time between Hong Kong and the island, he found Villa Rosita and created an elegant oceanfront escape on Bali’s east coast, framed by the rhythmic sound of the waves and the healing black sands of Tegal Besar. It became a cherished retreat for his family, and soon, for visiting friends who shared in its magic.
As more loved ones came to experience Bali through Villa Rosita, a second home was added on the East Coast.
In 2024, Sandeep founded Boutique Villas Bali, expanding to Seminyak with The Urban Retreat, a contemporary villa complex in the heart of Bali’s vibrant scene.
Each villa is personally curated by Sandeep and his wife, Rosy, with hand-selected artwork and thoughtful details that reflect the character of each space, ensuring every guest feels both at home and inspired by their surroundings.
